ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Car is stalling....

Ok so let me update everyone about my 91 accord That has sat up for about a year now, not sure how long the previous owner let it sit. Last time I posted I thought I had a clutch issue, it turned out I was just out of gas due to a faulty float.
Put some new spark plugs in and re-did the valve cover gasket and took her for a spin. she wants to stall out on me whenever i come to a stop or make a turn in second gear. We put 3 gallons of gas in her and I'm pretty positive I haven't run it out. The trip meter and speedometer do not work but back to the point. What could be causing her to stall out like this. My buddy thinks that I just need to drive her more to get the bad gas out. Thanks for any feedback.

bad gas can be a problem , but it will run like crap from go not just at stops. you need to change the fuel filter ,oil, and check the coolant.the filter may be stopped up or just got stuff in it .also do the plug wire's and dizzy cap .

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

it probably is just bad gas. i'd put some fuel system cleaner in the tank and some more gas and see if it improves. later.

Will change the wires and cap probably next week. we put a new fuel filter, starter, ICM back in the spring. she idles like a champ, just a litte under 1K rpms. Saturday she drove fine with the 3 gallons and some fuel cleaner but Sunday, she idled fine, just stalled at stops.

Maybe you dont have enough gas? How much was in there to start? The cars tend to start dieing even with 3 gallons still in the tank... that might explain why it happens when braking.
