ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    93 EX suspension travel

hey guys i am new to this forum. ANd this is my first post.

But, has anyone has any trouble with the upper control arm hitting the inside of the upper part of the fender?

I am on shitty Ebay coils at the moment, but i eventually want to get Function>Form Type 2's. and a few other suspension upgrades.

    Any information is helpful. Thanks!

From what i've read, the camber kits all hit the fender. youll just have to raise it back up a little bit if it bothers you.

True true. I was wondering if anything might be interchangeable, like maybe form a Prelue or a newer accord?

I don't have a camber kit and my arms are hitting. What I did was get a piece of 2X4 and a hammer, " gently " massage the inner fender where the arm is hitting and respray some undercoating.

I've seen other guys actually cut a hole in the inner fender so the arms can go through.

I'm driving my car this winter so that's not an option for me.

I've never heard of the arms hitting without a camber kit... unless you're REALLY low.

However, "massaging" the inner fender well is the way to do it... but you DEFINITELY have to paint it afterward, or you're running a serious risk of rusting out a pretty important area of the car!

I've seen people cut as well... I would NOT suggest doing that. Ever.

An easy short term solution is to have your camber adjusted to -1 degree. As long as you're not insanely slammed, that SHOULD keep you from hitting. Though you'll still experience camber wear somewhat, so keep an eye on your tires. Bald inner tires mean bald tires... regardless of what the rest looks like!

Also, scrap those cheapie ebay coils, and get some quality shocks. Cheap suspension components are dangerous! If they fail, you crash.

Yea the guy that has this car before me, did it on ebay coils, and unfortunately cut the shit out of the fender wells. =/ My camber is -3. I know thats horrible.

Just didn't know if this was a common problem on CB or not.
