From research I've done, it seems that seafoam is the best bet, but I've also been referred to the lucas a few times. Has anyone out there tried both?? Im pretty sure you can also add seafoam into your crankcase oil.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Lucas oil injector cleaner VS. Seafoam

I've seen Lucas used and I've seen seafoam used. Seafoam seemed to work a lot better in my brothers blazer, as in after it cleared out of the system mostly he had noticeably better throttle response/power. His car had a little over 150,000 miles at the timeBeing normal is probably the lamest thing you can try to be

you can i just never run more than 150-200 miles with it in. then just change the oil like normal. i use seafoam about once every 3 months in my gas tank and my wife uses lucas in her CD5 about every 3 weeks . have no problems with either of them. Both are very good products . the biggest difference is seafoam can be used in the crank case, gas tank , and or the Brake booster vaccum line . Correct me if i'm wrong somebody. but i'm very sure you can with no problems. But basically if you wanna Clean your engine out from every angle so to speak seafoam is the way to go. if your just looking for some good injector cleaner for around 5 bucks lucas oil gas treatment is the way to go.Originally posted by blackgoose View PostFrom research I've done, it seems that seafoam is the best bet, but I've also been referred to the lucas a few times. i hope this helps you out

I dated a farmers daughter in North Dakota, and her dad said all of the guys around there used seafoam. I've always been a fan. My old accord all of the sudden wouldn't go over 55 mph on a road trip. Added seafoam, finished the trip, and traded that 89 for my first 91 accord. The car ran great after the can, well at least long enough to trade it in lol
