CEL code still comes on after i changed it. Twice!

I recently bought another cb7 and was told the dizzy was bad. It was throwing cel code 4 (crank position sensor). I went to a junkyard and got another one. It still threw the same code and no change in the driving. I refunded my money and went to advance auto and got a New one. This one did the exact same thing, not fixing the problem. Is there anything else that can cause code 4. Ive read around and found some help but not enough. It still misses like the first dizzy i had on it.

Sounds like an open in the wire between the ecu and dizzy. Also, try swapping in another ecu to check that.

Also be sure to reset the ECU, so you're not getting an old code. If you don't reset it, it could throw a code based on the old input.

Thats what ive been forgetting to do; how slow can i be! I will go out and reset it now and will tell you if it works, thanks!
