ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Neptune
To run neptune you also need an emulator, unless there is a licenced tuner near you.
HRTuning
Check out HRTuning, the website I linked above. If customer service and continued support for a product are something you find important I would recommend you spend a few hours looking through the forum and looking at the dedication that HR has for neptune and the community that uses it.
He is like deev when it comes to posting, only and no offence to deev lol, he wrote the program you are using, this would be like if deev designed and built the cb7.
He responds to ANY legitimate problem and will personally ask for datalogs to try and figure out the problem.
The total cost for a licence and demon emulator(really awesome hardware!) is $400.
Compare the available options between s300, ectune, and even crome pro. Better yet, if you know people who have tuned on any of the systems, go talk to them.
I switched from crome and know that besides some dabbling in open source crome free I will not go to any other program for my honda obd1 tuning needs.
Oh and yes it is windows, mac, and I even believe linux capable(I haven't looked to be sure though) I am running it on windows 7 right now, no problems except if my laptop falls asleep while logging I have to restart the program to get it to log again.
That is the worst I have encountered and there is probably a fix for it.

You might as well just buy a kit from NOS/Holley. I didn't say Zex is what you should get, I'm just saying that it's my personal endorsement. Yes the bottles are I guess cool cuz they say "NOS" but I feel that both Zex and Nitrous Express are both better kits. But if that's what you want, yes you can get a kit without the bottle and then buy a bottle. But then people would wonder why you have a mismatched nitrous kit.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

I'm confused about the emulator . . . so $400 gets me everything i need? I just want to send my ECU somewhere and have them send it back to me where all I have to do is basically plug and tune. Also I dont really need a wet kit if I have Neptune right? It would evenly distribute the fuel.

wet kit
the N20 kit has nothing to do with the EMS (engine management system) itself If you want to spay fuel with your n20 you need a kit that comes with the fuel solenoid other goodies.
The neptune RTP board requires a socketed ecu with dataloging header.
This will not change regardless of what ems you decide to go with.
I think both hondata and neptune sell packages with an ecu, but I think it adds about another $150 to the price of either.
I do not know how much you know about tuning, or if you are planning to tune yourself, but besides the ecu, emulator and software we have been talking about it is pretty much impossible to tune without a wideband O2 sensor.
These range in price from $150 and up.
I started out with an Innovate LC1, and after a while upgraded to a PLX SM-AFR
It is sort of pricey to start the tuning process lol.
If you have to break it up, I recommend getting the wideband and the chipped ecu first, then running crome free and then upgrading to a nicer ems.
I think all but hondata now have trade in programs for emulators, so if you had to get something like an ostrich to start that wouldnt be the end of the world.
Anyway, this is wayyyyy off topic for N20 questions, if you have additional EMS / ECU / Tuning questions it would probably be best to start a new thread and continue them there.
