Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Car Won't Run Help Asap Please

    ok guy's i'm at a loss right now with my car. just got the car back from the shop got my Engine Rebuilt. Ran Fine for 2 days , i went out to go to the store and my car won't run Main Relay, New Ignition Coil. i have fuel and Spark. It is very Frustrating it will attempt to start but will not run. i have searched and i'm running outta ideas, I really need any help thanks in advance Guy's

        Make sure all battery and ground connections are clean and tight. I've had problems with dirty battery cables. The car would crank, but wouldn't start.



        How are you testing for spark and fuel?

          Timing and then compression test, if the timing checks out.

              My Mechanic is checking all of this for me. i just had the engine and Transmission rebuilt and the guy that done it keeps saying it's the distributor. but i have changed the ignition coil, the Battery,All Connections are Good and Clean. the fuel Filter. and i found the Fuel Pressure through turning the key and opening the fuel line from the filter. All the Grounds are good all Connector's are good and Tight. the Main Relay Was Replaced, All Fuses and Etc are Good. But My Mechanic is Going Outta Town Today and won't Be back till Mon. so i really won't know Anything More till then. I just Started My New job yesterday so i Really Don't Have much time to spend on it right now. But i will do what i can This weekend to keep searching for a solution. Thanks guy's

                ok so i got some good news and some bad news , good news car started and ran for about 20 mins until i shut it off. bad news is it will not run again, it will start but not run. i replace the ECU and IACV and my dad done something and it started and ran fine but he say's it must be a bad ground some where i have checked the ground from the battery to the tranny, the ground from the motor mount to the power steering bracket, from there to the valve cover am i missing any more? i'm really frustrated with this . i just dumped alot of money into the rebuild and i called the builder back and he is still saying that it's something external. tht i will have to pay another tow bill. if anyone has any more ideas please let me know. i really don't want to pay another tow bill. thanks in advanced guy

                    yeah from what i've seen everything seems to be in order. But it's probably something simple that i'm just overlooking somehow

                      Oki Guy's So i have an Updadte, i had a friend coe by Cause i was lost with this car. And i feel like an idiot but it was the starter hangin up and i am so aggrivated but now know what it was my car will be back on the road tomorrow. once again thanks guys for all of the help and advice
