ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

reverse light not working ? plus a couple other quesstions

so i found out that i have a reverse light out, so i went to check to make sure that the bulb was still good and the bulb is basically brand new.
does anyone know why my bulb isnt lighting up ?
i was thinking wiring or something but how would i check for that ?

another thing is i have an EX-R, i plan to take the A/C out because 1 - i have a sunroof and its pointless for me to have A/C, and the damn thing doesnt work anyways ...
after taken the A/C what model of Accord should i look for for my belt ?

and the thermostat plug that goes into the engine i ripped that off by an accident taken my tranny out, are they a hard fix ?

My car wasnt very well taken care of so i will most likely be posting more problems whenever i find them lol, thanks for any help !

the lights not working could be due to a fuse under the hood lable stop/horn, furthermore, if the stop/horn fuse is bad you wont be able to shit into Drive without the key. i had a problem with my back lights and it was because someone installed aftermarket taillights. replaced with oem and they workgreat now.

Your reverse light switch on top front of the transmission might be dead that is why your reverse light wont light up. Get a new one from a autopart store or got to a local junkyard and pull a few Reverse switch to replace.... why a few because they are old and some might be dead already.

If one side work and the ohter wont then... it might be wiring or bulb problem.
Make sure you use the correct bulb.

yeah i just checked like 10 minutes ago stop/horn fuse is perfect looks like a new fuse, and the reverse light switch is working fine as well.
but i was thinking it may be a wiring problem or the bulb ... maybe ill switch the woking bulb to see if its the bulb but im pretty sure its the wiring lol.
if it were wiring how would i find out or how would i find out where the problem is ?
not 100% sure how i could fix that lol

            thanks for all the help

make sure the light socket is clean. need a good connection for them to work. take a test light (less than $10 at walmart) and test the wires in and out of the socket. got power in and ground out, wiring good but socket bad. replace with new/jy socket.

as for a new belt after ac delete. get one that is for a non ac engine. most parts stores have a listing with or without ac. get the witout ac belt and you should be fine.

any other questions, just ask. we are here to help
