ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Bad O2 Sensor?

Ive been having a really annoying idle problem on warm up for the longest time. i also started to have very poor acceleration and the car seems to hesitate. i havn't got a CEL yet but could it be a bad O2 sensor? i havnt changed it since i bought the car and ive had it for about 9 months. And i was told that was supposed to have 3 O2 sensors? one on the manifold, one before the cat , and after the cat. but i seem to only have 1 before the cat. it also has a header on it.

Sad...who ever told you that is an idiot. Our F22 only has one sensor and it's either on the down pipe of the header or on the header itself depending on what set of headers or if its either a A1 A4 A6

Yeah it could mean the sensor is going out, if it is its a cheap fix but I would suggest to check timing first.

The ECU isn't reading o2 sensor input at warmup, so until the car is at operating temperature, the o2 sensor is not a factor. The bogging is very possibly the o2 sensor, though.

yeah, its only after warm up it starts to idle weird and bog. and i had my car on the lift yesterday and my only o2 sensor is right before the cat. i have a aftermarket header and i dont have a o2 sensor on that.

The o2 sensor is on the header... either on the upper part or the lower part.
