Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    auto seatbelt jammed/BEEPING!

    alright, ive got a 91 LX with automatic seatbelts. the drivers side seatbelt mechanism works perfectly but the passenger sides mechanism doesnt move. its either jammed in the engaged position or just not moving. so my passengers have to unbuckle the belt then rebuckle which is fine because theyre safe i guess but because of that the dash "seatbelt" light keeps beeping non-stop....ever. will honda fix this under warranty? some of the seatbelts are able to be pulled without catching as if they wouldnt really save anyone in the event of a crash...and this beeping is driving the ladies crazy

    The computer is under the passenger seat unplug it. The beeping will stop and I think the light will go off. but the driver side will stop working also make sure that door is closed when you do it. I was sliding in and out of mine till I got another computer.
    OR even better there under warranty take it to honda.

      i have a loud click beep sound to sometimes ever since i shampooed my carpets like a mad man i prob need a new computer. but yea like he said if you unplug it the driver side wont work.

        i talked to my local honda dealer and they said the belts themselves are under warranty but the auto-seatbelt mechanisms are not. he said most of the time the mechanisms fail due to battery corrosion. gonna take it in and get it checked but i have a feeling i'll be sliding in and out of a while but at least the beeping is gone..thank you

          I have read several threads concerning the automatic seatbelts and problems people have. Well, none of the treads Ive read have provided me with a solution.

          My passenger side auto seatbelt is broke, it doesnt slide into position anymore. In turn causes the annoying seatbelt warning light to flash and beeping noise, grrr. I have unplugged the connector under the seat, I have looked for an auto-seat belt fuse but couldnt find it.

          It could be worst, my mom's DA9 speedo screams while driving. So thankfully my CB doesn't do that.
