ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Random thermo fan problem/ over heating issue and other issues

    Hi everyone,

Randomly driving yesterday in heavy traffic all of a sudden the temperature climbs up(didn't over heat thank-god) and i pull over and my father realises only 1 thermo fan was running with or without a/c on. Now today they seem to be both working... is their any test or thing i could do to see what's going on :P or is 1 only meant to be on without a/c, also has new waterpump and thermostat a few months or so ago.

On a side note i have done everything you guys said to but my hand brake light and bulb out light is always on and even after installing my new spoiler all my lights work how ever it doesn't make sense to me why its on could it be a short?

    Thanks
    Anthony

The temperature rising is a pretty common issue, Mine used to do that, I ended up just wiring the Fans to come on with the ignition. The first place I would start is the thermostat though.

Your e-Brake light being on could be just the switch on the actual e-brake, try taking the center console out and see if its in place.

The Brake lamp out light its usually the "solders" (Don't know if that's a word) on the black boxes on the taillights that go bad since moisture gets into them and rusts them, try re-soldering them or grabbing other ones at the junk yard.

    Hope that helps.

The thermostat was good today so i guess its functional... If only it could talk as it has to be reliable :/

My ebrake and bulb out light seem to be on same circuit when something is wrong with my brake lights.

Have you checked your brake fluid, I think I read somewhere that can also cause those lights to come on.

Ok guys i know this is an old thread but...

Could my coolant temperature sensor be causing only 1 fan to come on or is it unrelated?
