ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Prelude to Accord cluster swap

Need help swapping bb6 and cb9 instrument clusters. I just found a 99 lude manual cluster, so im so hype. I just need schematics if anyone has done one successfully.

You'll need wiring schematics for the specific years of both your car and the Prelude. Wiring changes from year to year. I believe the cluster wiring for CBs is different for all 4 years.
I have schematics for my 92 Accord and my cluster... I forget what year it was... they were sent to me by a helpful member here. If I can find them, I'll see if I can get a copy for you.

IIRC the wiring and plugs vary between 90/91's and 92/93's, and there are 2 variations in those years as well, between Nippon Denso "ND" and Nippon Sakki "NS". So you have to be even more specific in finding the wiring schematics.

There have been multiple people who has done different types of cluster swaps they have provided the wiring info at least so far that should be able to identify which wires go to what function on your harness. You will then need to match those to the associated wires on the Prelude cluster harness. It's not hard. If this swap is something that's in your wheelhouse then you should be able to do it with that much guidance. Check out the '98-'02 Accord cluster DIY as well as both '97-'01 Prelude cluster DIYs for the wiring information.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
