ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Code 43 help.

My car is pretty well maintain. It's a 92 Accord EX Sedan. I have been having bad gas mileage recently and can't figure the problem. A couple days ago the CEL went on. Checked it when I got home, 4 long blinks and 3 short ones. Code 43 for "Fuel supply system." I cleared the code to see if it comes back on, after i start the car and take it for a spin, the CEL turns on. I recently gave it a tune up like 3 weeks ago...i changed the O2 sensor and notice a big difference, but then afer a couple days i saw the same problem with my gas mileage, i had earlier changed the catalytic converter. A couple days earlier i went to smog my car they told me it was burning rich...i dont know what the problem maybe. fuel regulator, O2 sensor, catalytic converter is all i can think of...any ideas??

Code 43 is due to a failed o2 sensor 90% of the time. Running rich is another sign of a bad o2 sensor. What brand o2 sensor did you use? If it is anything but NTK/NGK or Denso, it may not work. Bosch sensors are especially known for not working in our cars.

Recently, one member fixed a Code 43 by replacing the fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks. I must not have been clear when I said that in my first post.

How soon is the CEL coming on? If it's immediately, it may be a bad computer (speaking from experience) I read in a manual that before the o2 sensor sends a signal to the ecu, it has to reach some crazy temp.

In my case, my CEL would come on within 10 seconds of starting my car, it was a code 43, I bought 2 different o2 sensors at a cost of almost 80 dollars a piece, come to find out, it was the ecu. Put a different pt3 in my car, no more problems.

@nice deuce, it starts like 10secs after a few blocks I ride.
