ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    F2D Cb7 Brazil

    Hello people.
I was researching how to spend my CB7 to manual.
I found this kit bisimoto, F2D, anyone know?
    http://bisimoto.com/store/index.php?...roducts_id=140

    thank you

key word "WITHOUT MOUNTS" ull need to fab your own trans mount.
    ontop of that its HYDRAULIC...

ID NEVER spend 800$ on a plate, bolts, C&FW. hell i could get a whole H motor WITH TRANS for THAT...

for the money, just get an H trans if you want something other than an F trans.

Using a D or B series transmission will require a significant amount of work. Aside from custom mounts and axles, you will need to cut a large hole in your floor to use the rods that shift the transmission (unlike the cables that the Accord is equipped with.)

Using an F or H series transmission is much MUCH easier.

Friends of the U.S., the problem is that here in Brazil, it is very difficult to find a TRANSMISSION manual for H or F engines
        So I thought this adapter.
There is a normal bisimoto adapter without being hydraulic.
        Cause I'm getting desperate.
        I ride a G22, I found a h22 head, to mount a G22.
However I think the automatic transmission will not last.
And I have to replace the injection well.

What do you guys think I should do?
        thank you

          "G22" is a BAD idea.
The automatic transmission will hold the power just fine if it's in good condition.

Honestly, it would be easier and probably cheaper for you to find a way to import an H or F series transmission than it would be to make a B or D series transmission work on your car.

Why is it a bad idea friend?

Up here in Brazil is the manual transmission, but if some part breaks'm screwed hehe.
The transmission of the MT F22, original, hold enough power?

All F and H transmissions are plenty strong. Many people with turbo H22s use F22 transmissions because the longer gears are better for turbo.

H22 is a bad idea for many reasons. The main reasons are:
the F22 bottom end is not made to rev as high as the H head requires to make power
The F22 bottom end provides a MUCH lower compression ratio, making the H22 head much less effective.
The H22 cams require higher compression and higher revs to make power.
The H22 combustion chambers are larger than the F22 cylinders, resulting in a sharp ridge in the combustion chamber, which will be a place for detonation to occur... which could easily destroy the entire engine.

                I understood friend.
                I'll try to find a broadcast here then;
I found one at a time ago, that for 1000 dollars
                I found it very expensive.

With the adapter, the transmission, and all the custom work you will need done (custom axles are not cheap, nor are mounts) you would end up spending even more money for the F2D setup. It is very uncommon (I don't know anyone that has done it in a CB7) so there would be very little help if you encountered problems.

ebay is a good place to find F TRANNY'S and parts. i dont know about shipping to brazil tho, but i'm sure it's cheaper than the route you're going.

Just go with an f or h series tranny. I say this because without the aftermarket support, you would be really screwed if those custom fabricated mounts and axels were to go bad. Also, a d series tranny on an f series engine would be pretty useless IMO. If you want any type of civic tranny, just go with the h2b kit for an h22 simply because the b series si tranny is geared a lot shorter geared compared to an h tranny. Aside that, just keep an f series trans on the f series motor.

That barely makes sense to me, and I speak English regularly. This guy speaks Portuguese... at least TRY to make some sense! His English is clearer than yours...

B and D series transmissions are about as similar as H and F transmissions. A B series transmission will require the same amount of work and expense as a D series.
His reason for asking this is that it is difficult to get H/F transmissions where he is.

                          Thanks for the replies friends.
That's right, this is very hard to find gear F
However I will keep searching. One day I found a transmission F
Tell me friends, you have to assemble custom turbo F22?
                          How is this preparation?
                          It is very strong?
                          Thank you.

Building a turbo setup for the F22A is not difficult. The pistons are weak for turbo, though. They will break unless you use forged pistons.
You will find a lot of information about turbo HERE.
