ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Let's discuss the many things wrong with this thread, shall we?
First, you believe the engine internals to be stock as opposed to being forged. This leads me to believe that you understand that the factory internals are not forged and are asking about YOUR PARTICULAR engine's characteristics. This presumably because it's from Japan. How are we supposed to know? If it hasn't been opened up before, then no, they are not forged.
Second you ask us if it would be worth it to put on a turbo. Yes. Wait, maybe. No, definitely yes. Or is it no? Again, how are we supposed to know what your budget is or what your knowledge level on the subject is (okay, I actually do know that one)? We don't know your power goals or how much work you're willing to put into it. This is an entirely opinionated question.
My suggestion is for you to read, read and read some more. There is a multitude of things I doubt you understand on this issue and you should seriously look into it further. I realize you came on here just to blurt out a thought but there is a ton of information on this forum from others in the past that should be able to guide you toward what you want to do with your engine. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Would just like to point out that a H22A is JDM, no need to add "from Japan" on to the end. If it's a H22A1/4 it's USDM.Originally posted by alekp92jdm View Postso i have a H22a from japan and i was wondering if any one knew if it had forged internals as far as i know all the internals are stock but also would it be worth it to put on a turbo id only be running 3-5 psi but. its my daily driver and i guess i dont see a need for it besides my speeding addiction lolOriginally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. Bullshit. There is nothing wrong with FRM cylinder walls.Originally posted by SNOOZE View PostWhy don't you just go all motor instead and make the same power as a 3psi turbo? Stock H22s don't do good with turbo because of the FRM cylinder walls. I say if your gonna go turbo just go all out and build it right! Sleeve the block
The internals are not forged. They are cast aluminum, and will break a ringland even at low boost. Use forged internals, or don't bother boosting.
