ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Thoughts on this catch can?

    http://www.speedyracer.com/emusa/Uni...k-Gold?page=23

Tell me what you guys think or would suggest. I think its not baffled but also would adding steel wool help it out?

That's way too much bling for my engine bay. I'd rather go with the Home Depot method and a little steel wool.

I know its "bling" but considering the 15-20 bucks for the home depot catch can I dont see why spending an extra 10-15 would be a waste. I'm wondering if this is one of those ebay things that isnt actually a bad buy since I really dont want to buy a ENTER KNOWN AND REPUTABLE TUNER COMPANY HERE ________ catch can if 25 bucks will do what I need and its a not a knock off copy.

I'd say it's a good buy. I bought mine for 20 bucks on eBay and it's exactly the same just blue. Some ppl make their own but I don't see 20 bucks being too much. They all basically do the same thing and none perform better than others so don't be fooled by some more expensive " name brand " oil catch cans Cus they all do the same. The only difference is the quality of material used to make the catch can. The quality of material used in the one your looking at is good enough.

its a catch can. not terribly important for it to be made with the highest quality parts. if you like the way it looks, buy it.

The way I see it a catch can is a catch can. If it is something that interest you or would make you happy with your engine bay go for it

I know man, I just don't want to end up buying a shit of a catch can. Im still debating this. it'll probly be my top things I purchase when I begin to mod my car.

for now my mods are heavy suspension maintnance. so after I buy some tires. get a steering wheel column swap. get a timing job. white or yellow underglow neon sticks, fogs and then ill get the catch can. I already bought legend hood struts. lol but that mod I could justify.

ive used it and it works, just change the hoses as they don't work too well with engine bay heat

Yeah i could tell those hoses were trash, Im probably going to use the black hose that is for emissions.

A question did you weld a baffle or do anything extra to get satisfaction out of it?

I know you fabricate so i was just wondering.
