ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You cant really be mad when you take your car to someone and they rip you off or are expensive. Thats the price you pay for not being able to work on your own car. You should be mad at yourself.

Alot of people get mad because mechanics dont know what the problem is right off the bat. (Niether do you) Most of the time there is one or two problems that they see wrong and fix them. It dosent matter if it dosent solve the issue your having. The car needed it anyways. A bad part is a bad part.

      Kudos.

To whom complain about the charge for a repair:
All shops and mechanics (good and bad) have "overheads" to pay. Money for that have to come from somewhere. Ask for written estimate BEFORE approve the work so you don't bitch about it AFTER.

Not mad, I understand it was my fault, that's why I hardly ever go to mechanics anymore. He did say that the front mount was bad and he did replace it, but he was so ignorant that he didn't even check the rpms and how that was why it was vibrating so much, not the motor mount. The rpms were down to 4, and even as low as 200 rpms at that time! He said "its a motor mount". My big fat arse it was.

Its my fault for not knowing more about my car, but at that time I hardly knew a thing. I should have known it was something inside the engine and not the mount that caused the insane vibration. I also found later on that the timing belt was loose as well, that would have contributed to the vibration.

Did you ever find out what was wrong?

I believe it quit due to burnt valves, she shot a nice old puff of black smoke out the throttle body, wasnt too good, as for the shake, i will probably replace the mounts when i put the f22b in
