Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    H22 Swap Transmission Question

    I'm currently in the middle of swapping a H22a4 into my CB7 and hit a little bit of a snag.

    On the stock Accord trans, there are two lines coming off the VSS that tie in with the power steering system that are not present on the Prelude trans? The Prelude trans is from a 97.

    Do I need to move the entire unit from the Accord trans over. What does it even do?

    Show pictures I think you may have the wrong transmission for that car is this the atts prelude? The atts model prelude with that h22 motor is ifferent from the baseline one. Basically it is a lsd for the transmission im not sure it's been awhile since I been on there.

    Yes I would post pictures first the last time I checked the same vacuum looking lines that I had on my old h22 type s I managed to hook onto the actual prelude transmission from off of my old acccord. Is your oil filter on the back of the engine towards the middle or towards the right. If its towards the right then you have a atts unit. If the oil filter is in the center your straight I would show pictures though.

      Just to be perfectly clear, there are no kind of weird lines on the prelude transmission. The 2 lines I'm referring are on the accord trans.

      Here is a pic of the two lines still connected to the Accord trans.


      Here is where those lines connected to on the rear subframe in the engine bay


      Here is the VSS Signal area of the Prelude trans.


      Here is the tag of the Prelude trans. It is a M2Y4. Is that the ATTS?

        The prelude trans vss does not need external lubrication. The two lines allow power steering fluid to lubricate the vss on the f22 trans. You can just loop the lines with no problem or u can swap over your external lubricated vss from your f22 trans

          That's kinda what I was thinking. Now back to the nightmare of timing the H22.
