Hey gang, I purchased a full exhaust off of Ebay (Speed Daddy) recently. I am in the process of doing the install today and I am having issues with routing the muffler with pipe over the rear suspension. Is it recommended that the lower control arms be taken loose for the install? Please help as I would like to get the install done today and at the latest tomorrow. I know most of you aren't about the Ebay exhaust, but it was all I could afford. I am on an extremely tight budget. Thanks for the help.

I haven't seen an exhaust for our cars that mounts over the rear suspension, it should be just under the inner end of the rear lower control arm.

Who said you have to remove the lca? You don't have to remove any thing but the other exhaust, don't forget eBay stuff doesn't have the best fit and Finnish!

It's just the muffler that came with the Speed Daddy kit. It is loud and farts a lot, but being on a budget it will do. I'm sure the Borla mufflers sound awesome though.Comment

change it to a magnaflow or borla like f20a said once you are able to that is. i personally have a magnaflow and love it.

Is the stock exhaust system worth anything scrap? I was mainly interested if the catalytic converter would be worth a fair amount.Comment

The cat can be recycled for about $25-30 I believe. The rest of it is just metal scrap unless it is still in good shape. If that is the case: Craigslist that shit!
