ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You might want to start a new thread when you get into the details of it, either in the DIY section or perhaps the Technical section. I'm not a big fan of the EGR delete in general, as I see no reason to disable a functional. However, I'm impressed and intrigued by your use of an arduino.

Very cool NTYPE, I would love to see the .ino, could maybe adapt it to run on an attiny13a or attiny85 and make a really small and slick integration.
Bought from: Night Wolf, bassrock234, sonikaccord, 904drACCORDMANG

      92 Accord, F23a franken-engine, N/A forever.

i was under the impression that it would since the exhaust gasses richen up the mixture, when researching i came across some people warning of it and burning valves, probably just misinformation or people getting lean burn confused with it or something.

I would assume that a functional oxygen sensor would allow the ECU to compensate one way or the other, if the mixture were to change significantly due to the EGR delete.

What's the point of deleting the EGR? I know it help MPG but whats the downside of it?

Can you get the values for the duty cycle and the corresponding valve lift voltage for that duty cycle? Good arduino use, btw.

The exhaust gases have zero impact on the air/fuel ratio, unless you have mechanical fuel injection that pays no attention to the amount of air taken into the engine. The exhaust gases do displace some air, but they also reduce air flow, which the ECU detects and adjusts the amount of fuel injected.

Exhaust gases do slow down the combustion burn rate, so perhaps in a marginal engine they might cause a bit of misfire. But this would be rare.
