Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Turn signals, dash lights, taillights WONT WORK!

    Turn signals, dash lights, taillights WONT WORK!

    so just to sum this up a bit, my radio stopped turning on, when it came back on my tail lights stopped working (brake lights work) but the taillights will not come on. a couple of days later after turning off my car at the gas station and turning back on i noticed my turn signals were not working, not even on the inturament cluster. as for the dash cluster the lights do not come on but the door lights (which tell u if door is not closed) work as does the other "problem" lights.

    im not sure where to start with the problem besides fuses and light bulbs (which i already checked). not sure if it has to do with a short somewhere, or even a relay which i dont know how to test for...

    i miss driving my CB but i get tired of using my hand for turn signals!!!

    See if your hazard lights still work. If your dash lights don't work your front running lights don't either. They are on the same circut. Cluster/tail/ and running lights. If your hazard lights work I would think the switch is bad.

      now that you say it i dont think that the running lights work either! its hard to see right now as its bright as hello outside and my running lights are tinted dark! so if the switch is bad where can i locate that switch at?

        check the small light fuse in the engine bay. sounds like your problems started with the radio. check that wiring too.

          well see i have already checked the fuses, and none of them are blown that's why i am going crazy!!

              well i checked both fuse boxes, and sure enough u were correct the "small light" fuse was blown not turn signals work as well as back lights! just not sure about dash lights (to bright outside right now) but thank you so much!

                if the running lights work, the dash lights will work.

                no problem, it happened to me before.

                    OK, I know this sounds dumb but try replacing all fuses relating to lights and cluster.
                    i had complete dash failure including cluster, dash clock, and P/W. i checked both fuse boxes. all my fuses "looked" Ok. relays looked good too. 3 days i drove around like that until I bought new fuses changed #1 (controls cluster), and other fuses in the underdash fuse box and some more like p/w fuses in underhood fuse box.

                    instant success..
