ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

f22a1 ecu with a f22a6

The f22 a1 comes with the pt3 ecu. The f22 a6 comes with a pt6 ecu. The f22a6 will run on the pt3 but the pt3 does not control the Iab's that are on the f22a6 and is not designed to run the bigger cam on the f22a6. It's a good idea to utilize full potential use the pt6 ecu with the f22a6.......father in law has it back again. Time to shine

Yes i have the f22A6 intake.the vacuum box that is bolted on the bottom of the manifold is gone though.Originally posted by deevergote View PostYou won't really risk any damage with the PT3, but you'll be missing out on a good deal of power without it. Especially if you're using the F22A6 intake manifold.

Mine had a pt3 on the f22a6 for about 8 years with no issue. You will want to at least operate your iab's by intake vacum. The best way is to get a box and run wires to your new pt6 ecu. I don't remember which ecu pins but the process has been covered many times on this site.......father in law has it back again. Time to shine

The pt3 was designed to run without Iabs. If its not running well its not because of the pt3 unless its an a6 and has the cam that came with the a6. Even then I have ran my a6 with a Pt3 and the difference wasnt noticeable other than the Iabs not working.Originally posted by hotrodj View PostIve got a Pt3 running a F22A with a A1 non iab intake mani. Runs fine. Dosent run "great" ,but runs fine otherwise.
