Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Ebay and strut help 1991 accord

    I have a project car that I am making a daily driver. I got genuine Honda struts off eBay. They are basically unused, but the posting was wrong. it listed 94 accord, but it is an 04 accord. There was photo of the part number but i did not check.
    Is there anyway this will fit a 1991 SE? change tops?

    What should I do about this? The cost of shipping makes it not worth disputing? I got them cheap. They have less than 5k miles on them. Any one know what there worth?

    as far as I know, there is no way to make them work. sorry man

      Tell the seller you will return them because they did a false advertising.

        ^^ good advice and if that fails use paypal as the mediator, file a claim ship them back and youll get your money back no matter what (usually)
        ship them back the cheapest way you can find, the seller probably fleeced you on that anyway. or try to sell on CL or locally but youll probably only get back 20&#37; of your investment since people are cheap bastids.

        you can use 90-97's suspension parts. g'day.

          Even if you could make it fit, the 04 Accord is quite different in terms of weight and suspension dynamics. The 04 strut would certainly not be valved properly for your car.

          As said, notify the seller about the struts being falsely advertised. Demand a refund, and that he pay return shipping. It's his fault that they were listed incorrectly, and you would not have purchased them had they been listed as 04 struts. If he refuses, file disputes with eBay and Paypal (assuming that's how you paid.)
