Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    f22a6 startup issues pt2

    Okay, I got my recently rebuilt f22a6 to fire up and run for a brief period, after that it NEVER started again. It cranks, I know it has PLENTY of fuel pressure. I resoldered the main relay, but can't find any info on how to test it, it HAS NO PIN NO. 6 like every diagram says it should. Timing is dead on, all connections are good to go. When I put the jumper wire in the ECU I get nothing. I'm getting very frustrated and in in a bad situation that if I can't get my project car started and driven to my new house... it will most likely be scrapped by my awhole father. Please help some one.

    Maybe just replace that relay. Are you getting spark from the coil? Or to the spark plugs? If you are getting fuel to the fuel rail then that means that relay is good because it controls your fuel pump

      Not really,I neglected to mention that I had to ghetto rig the fuel pump because it was not getting voltage from the relay.

        Maybe it wasn't getting power from the relay because it doesn't work. And never "ghetto rig" anything bro because it'll cost u more in the long run. How did u ghetto rig the pump? Did u cut wires? If u did, go back and make sure they didn't short out, because it was running before right?

          yes take it from me i cant count the amount of times ive had to redo things because of "ghetto rigging" things.

            Ghetto rigging can cause you the most stress at times and it really sucks..
