ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    No fuel pressure

So I'm having a bit of a problem getting this Accord to start. It's been out of a commission for nearly a year now while I've been getting some repairs done and changing a few gaskets. I've gotten everything buttoned back together and now I'm having some difficulty getting any fuel pressure.

I took off the intake manifold because the IACV and FITV had hardened and clogged coolant lines, the EGR was bad and there was at least one vacuum leak. I replaced all of the gaskets and seals and had everything plugged back in correctly. The battery was dead at this point so I borrowed another one to start it. Upon starting the car I can get the engine to crank, but it won't start. I've narrowed this down to a fuel problem when I cracked the nut for the fuel line on the rail loose and it was as dry as it was when I reinstalled it. I checked the trunk area while someone else turned the keys to accessories and did not hear the fuel pump at all. I pulled the main relay and saw no visible signs of broken welds at all. Also, that problem seems to manifest in the warmer times of year rather than now.

The car ran previous to me removing the intake manifold so all of the electronics should be good. I'm not getting fuel and I'm not even hearing the fuel pump prime. Given my conditions as I've narrowed them down, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for reading my long post.

I personally would try giving the pump itself direct power to see if it turns on that way

If the car has sat for a year its possible the pump rusted solid. One trick an acquaintance used was alternating the polarities on a fuel pump to twist itself into unseizing
