Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Cruise control issue

    When I bought my cb7 the cruise control box was just dangling by the wires wasn't mounted up in its proper place and had a bad main fuel relay (I replaced bracket was broke so is held up by zip ties) I had recently mounted the cruise box in the only place that looked like a 10mm bolt could fit after doing so my cruise no longer works? Before this however my cruise would work when it wanted to and my gages would act crazy blinkers would stop working etc unless I fidgeted with the wires while driving then it would work again. Now that I zipped tied everything up and secured and gages work properly my cruise won't work? The guy I bought it from said the cruise box had been misplaced a few times while working on it had been banged around a bit. Should I pick one up at a salvage yard or could this be another issue? Also could someone show me a proper pic of how everything should be secured under the dash? Thank you all for any help.

      I'll mess around with it tomorrow after I replace the passenger cv shaft. I've seen that pic before and tried to use it as a reference kind of hard to move around under there. I'll tinker with it.

        take the seat out then its comfy lmao

          Lol good idea I need to do that anyway planning on hitting the carpet dash and seats with sem and duplicolor
