ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    It crank but wont start.

    I have 1991 Honda accord.
I was doing gasket replace for head, valve cover, and oil pan. Also new water pump. I installed a6 cam with a6 ecu.
Yes I did set it to tdc(I even triple check it). It Start after i was done with it. But the rpm jumps and act all retarded like, Then run normal. I took it out for a drive, and run smoothly. Came home and turn car off. Now it car won't ever starts. I check distributor, plugs, wires, fuel relay, common things that cause it not to starts.

I notice on the ON position. That S mode cam on with the click noise from shift console, I did the jump from connection but no code, flashing, nothing. It stayed on solid. Can a faulty tcu cause it not to start?

I have a back up and I fixing to swap it. If anyone had an idea. It'll would help a lot.

    1. Please don't say that issues are retarded unless talking about timing. Using it as an insult is poor taste.
    2. It ran fine and then died? Confirm you're getting spark on all four plugs if possible.
    3. TCU won't cause a no start. Make sure the button isn't pressed on haha.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

To the first comment, my bad. But it was jumping randomly like, as in all over the place.
        It did show clear sparks.
It was fuel pump anyways. I tested it before and it works fine, it had normal respond. Then this time it show no respond. It just suddenly quit I guess.

To the second comment, I don't get it?

Jump time means did the timing belt skip a tooth. Did you check your fuel pump fuse/main relay? Sounds like could be the main relay.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

Maybe it did jump... But l am pretty certain the belt is tight down before I even try to start it. But I'll check it again sometimes after pump been replace.
Idk about the fuse, is there a fuse unless just main reley??... But the main reley has been replace. Even the one from it in the first place is clean,no crack, no burnt, nor burnt smell.
