ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

My Cb7 will not start i need please

My CB7 won't start I've changed the timing belt the water pump the fuel pump along with the fuel pump relay. The ignition coil the distributor the rotor the distributor cap.The spark plug wires and spark plugs.I've also changed the battery cables. And put in a new battery. And still not starting. It cranks but does not run.

Before buying any parts did you check that you're getting a spark at the plugs and fuel is getting to the rail?

It sounds like you started buying parts rather than actually diagnosing the problem. So lets try diagnosing it now. Also there is no need to make 2 consecutive posts about the same problem.

Agreed with diagnosing. Triple check your timing. Obtain a cheap multimeter or test light if you don't have one.

I apologize for making two consecutive posts that was not my intention. That parts I mentioned earlier are the parts that mechanic told buy those are the parts he installed. I did pull spark plug 1 to see if was getting any spark and I'm not getting any spark.I pulled my distributor and put it on another CB7 and it ran fine.I'm starting to think it could be shortage some where in my wiring harness or that there could something wrong with ECU

Time for a new mechanic. He was just throwing parts at it.

I highly doubt your ECU is bad. You could have pinched wiring somewhere. Did you check your fuses?

I checked both fuse boxes with a test light.and by pulling them to visually see if they are broken. What I don't know how to do is check the relays. And you are rite I do need a new mechanic.
