ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    O2 Sensor issue

Alright well I have a 93 cb7 coupe with the f22a1 in it. My whole issue is for some reason every o2 sensor I buy does not have a long enough wire to reach from my manifold to the actual plug down near the speed sensor. To be honest I have no idea if the plug is even supposed to be back that. The previous owner wasn't the brightest tool in the shed and I've been fixing ghetto things for six months.

Does anyone have some pictures for me to use as an example, I've googled it and it doesn't give me anything besides basic white and black diagrams.

If you have an F22a1 the o2 sensor shouod be on the front. If it's on the bottom, near the oil pan, it has had an f22a6 exhaust manifold put on it. You most likely just need to unwrap the harness and stretch it down further to meet the o2 sensor. I couldn't find an exact thread but this one has info about it. http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=149148
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

There are different sensor locations for different trim levels.
What trim is your car? If it's an EX or SE, then that F22A1 is a swap, and the factory o2 sensor wiring won't reach to where the sensor is located on the F22A1 exhaust manifold. If you have an LX or DX, then that is the correct engine, and it's likely that you have a sensor that is intended for an EX or SE.

Be sure you're using a Denso or NTK sensor (NEVER Bosch!)
If you can provide the part number of the sensor and the trim level of your car, we can help further.
