ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

got fuel injectors out of my car.

want to have them professionaly cleaned..

what should i make sure the shop is equipped with and the procedure they use to determine they are working 100%? how much is a price i should be paying for this in canada.

i ask because i call canadian tire and the guy sounded dumbfounded by my request. he said if was the first time he's been asked for that service(injectors out of the car) and that they offer a fuel induction cleaning service or some bs like that. he tried to make it sound all elaborate and tried to use big words while he was describing this "induction service".

Dude now that they are off just tap on them lightly to free up any shit. Then spray them with some carb cleaner. Wait a bit and put them back. thats all a shop is going to do 4 ya.
No longer working on the cb. To much time and money has been put into it. Check my for sale thread where the whole car will be parted out.

i was thinking about getting a double AA battery and finding a way to hook that up and spray em down with a cleaning agent. i want to see the spray pattern etc.

what do you mean "tap on them lightly"..? tap on em where?

There are places you can send them to. RC Engineering will do them for you and give you flow charts for all four of them.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

i thought it was connected to my car jerking problems.. suprised how easy it was to take those suckers out.

but now that i have them out i connected a double aa battery and blew(manually via plastic tube, ghetto i know) some fuel injector cleaner through them.. after i blew some through i left some in there to sit overnight and tommorow i plan to put them back and see if it helps my situation.

god damn honda wants over $80 for the 4 rubber washers for each injector.. god damn stealership. i'm just gonna use the old ones they still look pretty good.

So would frequent use of injector cleaners like Lucas, Seafoam, Techcron in your fuel tank, would it hurt the car or fuel system? What about would it hurts the O2 sensors?
Would using higher octane grade helps keep the injectors clean?

If you take the injectors off, would you just change the o-rings and seals too?

                    Thanks.
