ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    question on a/f gauge

I was wondering will I still be able to use the narrow band a/f gauge after using uberdata?? or will it not make any sense?? I dont mean to use the a/f gauge to tune, but use it after i tune.

yes u can still use it to monitor.. although if for some reason u go crazy lean while in boost (if ur boosting) the a/f gauge will show it way after the damage is done.. so bet ur ass ur l.e.d's on the a/f gauge stay green and never go red ahhaah

once u install ur a/f gauge.. (or if u already have it installed).. think about this..

if u rev it while in Nuetral.. and let go.. how long does it take the l.e.d's before they go full red... about a half a second or some shit.. well.. if under boost and it took half a second to let u know its lean while ur flooring it.. like wikked said.. kaboom...

Chances are you are using an Autometer A/F guage right?
That's not an accurate way to monitor your A/F ratio.

If you're using uberdata, why not invest in a wideband o2 sensor? Like the AEM or LM1...those give out 98% accurate o2 readings, which in turn you can tune your uberdata values to a point...

no one ever said it was to tune.. like i mentioned earlier.. this is not for tuning.. this is a cheap alternative to having ur WIDEBAND in the car ALL THE TIME.. or buying an expensive aem uego.. which is worthless if u have a zeitronix already.. not its not 100 percent accurate.. but it gives u a ball park figure of whats going on.. better than nothing.. IMO...
