ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

    Suggestions for clutch and header?

I'm in somewhat of a rush.. since I'm heading on a long road trip at the end of the month and need to replace my header before I go. I bought an entire Megan Racing exhaust without knowing the quality and I have since replaced everything except for the header... but now the header is leaking too. I'm leaning towards just paying the money for a DC Sports header, but was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? (BTW, this is for an H22A, not the F22).

Also, I am going to have to replace my clutch soon too (probably before the trip as well) and am looking for ANY suggestions as to brand/models for clutches. I wouldn't mind changing to a bit lighter flywheel as well at the same time.. are there any good combos out there (clutch/lightened flywheel) that are worthwhile? (Again, for the H22A).

Header it depends if you want cheap or expensive. The clutch, XTD is a good cheap alternative but I recommend gettin a Honda OEM T/O Bearing if you get it cuz mine fell apart.

get a DC header, reliable and durable. Just make sure you tighten it down. i had a leak the first week cause my friend didn't tighten it down good enough. As for clutch and flywheel, i have a exedy clutch and fidanza flywheel. Dogg, it feels so nice when it shifts, hard or granny. I have had stage 1 and 2 clutch, and then a 14 and 8 pound flywheel. i have had both combos of upgrades, cause it feels so smooth.

i've heard of dc headers having the flange split from the header pipes. and act and xtd make great clutches. don't go with stock honda clutches if you plan to add any power above stock. it wont last, and clutches are a bitch to change.

I know that for a fact. I got a brand new OEM replacement and its gone to hell now. After a few passes down the track I basicaly lost clutch feel.

i've had the dc sports header on my h23 for about 4 years now and it's still good as new. i also have the exedy stage 1 clutch and fidanza 8lb flywheel. good products as well. i don't think you could go wrong with any of these products.

You wont be able to get it to fit unless you throw a USDM downpipe...And still why not buy something better ex: RMF, SMSP, Hytech.

Well after doing a bit more research it seems I'm going to go with an exedy stage 1 clutch and dc sports header. both (relatively) cheap and haven't read much bad about them yet. as for flywheel, i can't seem to find a lot of information out there other than the suggestions you guys have made, but I am pretty sure I want to change it instead of just machining the stock one.. We'll see what I can get locally, that might make research a bit easier.

my setup right now is the act extreme pressure plate with the street disc. it came with a unsprung 6 puck but that was way to much for daily driving. id say go with act and the street disc man. amazing clutch
