ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Tranny Mount

I have a 93 Accord ex with a 94 accord ex motor and tranny. The problem I have right now is the my motor sits uneven, it is lower on the passenger side. I currently have a 94 accord tranny mount on. I recently tried using a 93 tranny mount but that doest fit because the bolts don't line up. My question is, does anybody make a custom mount for this swap so the motor sits straight or is the only solution to fix this problem is to use back a 93 accord tranny?

Well i was reading a link on here about swapping to an H22 and they said that you would have to add 3/8 inch washers to the driver side mount so it will sit even. So it seems like you have the same problem but on the other side. Just try the washer trick and see if it works.

Can u post a link to that page please thanks!

Im suppose to add a 3/8 washer to every bolt on the stock tranny mount or the current 94 tranny mount I have in the car now... And can I go to like autozone or pepboys for these washers.

the washer trick is solely for converting from auto to manual. if youre not converting, read below.

you need to bolt the original accord mount to the new tranny. didnt you notice how hugely different the two mounts are? theres no way a mount 2" taller would fit. to get the original 4g accord mount to bolt onto the new tranny, drill out the two unused stud holes with an 11/32 drill bit, then tap them with a 10x1.25mm tap. then you can move the two studs to the new locations, and the mount will fit.

see below... he says Prelude tranny, but the prelude and the 5th gen accords shared a similar tranny case shape and both had an identical tranny mount, so this procedure is the same for your application.
