Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Compression

    ok guys i was reading about the compressions and the 2 center ones were around 150 and the outside ones were about 155 but on my accord idk wats wrong wit it becus my sis was driving it wit a broken gasket but i checked all four and there all 100 about so do u guys have any idea wats causing tat problem and wat is the compression suppose to be at and plus how tight do u have to tighten the tool into the sparkplug hole. well hope to get some help.

      well the spark plugs tighten them until you think they are tight enough. the compression problem you have to figure that on your own. but you could check for leaks, air leaking somewhere. its usualy the simple things to think of. good luck.

          Tighten the plug snug....Are you blowing blue smoke? What are the symptoms when driving.

            well i havent drove it yet until today and i had the spark plug wires wrong soo i changed it and now it better than be4.

                sum smoke when driven hard but other than tat nope and plus i got a new valve cover gastket set and i put it on but it still seems to be leaking there idk wat to do but to let it heat up and mold onto the head. plus the revs to like 2000rpm when i start it then after about a good 10 seconds it goes down?

                  Thats your FITV in action when you start up cold. As for your valve cover tighten it snug and in a criss cross pattern then tighten all of them down somewhat evenly.

                    ok i'll go do tat but man i've been touching this car for dayz now since i got the engine in it about 2 weeks ago but hey im getting my tires on my rims tomorrow so if u can show me how to post up pictures im glad it'll help me out alot thanx
