i have the f22a6 intake. Its has a butterfly valve in it. Would it be better to take it out or leave it in. it says the purpose is so to give it more hp at higher rpms when open but more torque at lower rpms. so what should i do leave it in or take it out.

I think you just answered your own question. If it gives you more hp at higher rpm and more torque at lower rpm then whats to debate about?

because if i can remove it and it give me more power than i can just keep it open and have the max power at lower rpms. so more hp the better just wondering if any body has any experience with f22a6

Those butterflys are closed at lower RPMs to give the engien better torque. they open after ~4500rpm IIRC and let the engine breathe better at higher RPMs

according to what pwrusr said then like i said b4, just leave it in. it can only help your overall performance
