ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

How to hide that loud fan

I am the proud owner of a 91 honda ex and i love it. but after driving it and heating that bad boy up then stopping and letting it sit. I will hear my fan kick on. I really really hate that sound. So i was wondering if there as any other way to cool my cb7 down. or atleast cut down on the sound

WTF another pointless post. Who let this n00b out? Anyway there is nothing to do. How is it annoying? Its pretty discreet well mine is. Whats it sound like? SHould just be something similar to a whirrr unless your hitting something? BTW disconnecting it and such is bad for your motor if you want it to run hot.

It's the sound of your Honda taking care of itself. It's a good thing.

What do you expect after you run a hot engine for awhile on a hot day.

          generic short-ram
          generic strut tower bar
          hid bulbs all around
amber bumper + clear corners (soon to be amber)

I sorry for the thread jack, but what side fan comes on after a hot day of driving the right or the left side (standing in front of the car). I know one is for the radiator and the other is for the a/c. I think something is wrong with mines cause it doesn't come on after i drive on a hot day, but radiator does come on while driving. It maybe the sensor, can someone point out where that sensor might be located. Thanks a lot in advance.

Someone did not take their meds today. Anyways, about that noise, its just the car cooling down. If you want, try a hood off-set to make the car run and cool down a little quicker. Just run a search.

Ive got a loud one 2. Mines about to assout on me soon. There are 2 solutions. New/used OEM fan or Universal fan. The fan died in my 91 Dakota and i decided to replace it with a universal kit...$69 later and my truck sounds like a industrial vacume cleaner when it warms up. The stock fan in a accord unless its about to die sounds like music compaired to jet intake sound of the universal kits.

Usualy the bearings are the first thing to go out on a radiator fan... the blades will slouch alittle and hit the edge of the fan housing it goes clunk clunk and speeds up when it starts and makes a sound (not as loud as when it spins up but) louder than it should be. Replace it if its doing this.... or the next trip to fast food drive-thru could end up being a tow-thru.

Where talking head gasket damage and warping if it overheats 2 bad.
I cant Slam further. The ground refuses to get any lower.
