CB7 engine runs good but...

Ok. so when you drive around crusing style it feels like it runs lean the rice kinda way.. you can feel that it pulls then slow down.. not very much but its there allright.. and slow acc. you feel it to
when i hit the shit.. it flyes.. no problems.. and very smooth.. ??

whats up with this.. heard about others before having this issue.. and blokking the EGR would help.. but most be a right way to fix this !?..


i tried looking around here. but did not come up with much..
please any help would be great !..

dont know how to explain this, better being danish and all

but when you drive normal especily under 4000 rpm you can feel that the car kinda runs lean or somthing.. but in short burst.. so it feels like is slows down then acc. (VERY LITTLE ? no much.. but it does this..)

i does not run smooth you know.. but when you floor it.. it seems to be very good nice and smooth acc.

hav had it doing about 140MPH on the stock size 15 " so dont think it has power loss ..

ok.. ill try agian

with lean i meen LEAN.. if the effekt im talking about, was multiplied like 100 times it would make you bounce and jump forward then allmost stop .. on and on...

feels like the mixture ist right.. and it tryes to hit lambda 1 but goes a litlle to fare on both side.. makin the car slow down then acc. on and on and on..
but it is not very much.. but you can feel it.. but cant see it.. this happens mostly under slow acc or low rpm cruising speed and 1-2 gear is worst
other then that the car runs well.. and new dissy and O2 sensor form honda ..

im thinkin the sometihng is clogged and EGR is fucked or CLOGGED or somthing that would interfear with the mixture or something else in the way.. that would make the car behave like this..

How about your plug wires?

When you put the new distributor on, what did you set the timing to?

It's dmc1 from hmt......Um any way I know whats wrong with this guys car. Buddy you have a weak fuel pump! about 5 years ago my 90 accord would run the same way. you would cruise along foot barily on the gas and the fuel pressure would fall off and cause the car to stumble I would have to floor it all the time to get anywhere.

Change that fuel pump and your good to go. Now let me rail you girlfriend or mom wich evers hottest.

He's just saying that his car, under 4000rpm is very hesitant. Click the link above and follow the instructions on cleaning the EGR ports and EGR, fitv, iacv, also clean the throttle body, theres a DIY on that in there somewhere, and also do the coolant bleeder like it says in the link above.

You could also try sea foam to clean up your engine/intake manifold/injectors/crankshaft etc. If you haven't done the spark plugs/cap rotor/oil - oilfilter/fuel filter/air filter etc.. basicaly just tune the car up and make sure everything is clean.

Hey thank you... ill try some of this and let you know if it help, since i think the EGR valve is the one that fucks thinks up and makin it feels like it runs lean and then rich on and on.. fund that on where they bore out the EGR springs/valves som thing.. looks pretty overkill is there no other way to clean out the EGR lines ?

DOES that dont get the mening of my 3 other post, i dont think your read all of them and / or you are not even tryin to understand. it is hard to explain when i dont know the words for some things like what you call a car that jumps or whatever in english

ill try it again even,

car does not run smooth under low RPM ruising or normal to slow acc.
it jerks, it jumps, it goes back and forward, it does not acceleret normal,
but only somthing you can feel alittle and fare from enough the see it
