ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Ebay Gasket Kits

Anybody had any good/bad experiences. Any Brand names that are better than others. Just curious about the quality of the gaskets for our f22's.

    -Thanks.

imo i wouldnt i'd trust a aftermarket gasket, tho i havent had any experience with them i'd still spend the extra cash for the oem honda material

gaskets are cheap even if they're OEM. OEM is going to fit not if they might fit. later.

Dealer wants $98(cdn) for head gasket. Then I want to get pan, VC ,and tube seals. That price kinda turned me off. But, I found a Detroit Gasket kit for $100. Anybody heard of Detroit Gasket. They seem reputable.

        Wow, You guys are fast!!

As cpmike would say. Use Copper Silicone. a little tube last's along time, and never leaks.

i bought a full block&head gasket kit off of ebay, ive installed half of it so far. its a pretty good quality kit. use silicone gasket maker (i used ultra black for the block, but like maple said i generally am a fan of the copper kind) and everything will seal nice and tight...

            oil pan gasket
            head gasket
            v/c gasket kit
full set of orings, crush washers
            gaskets for the oil pump
            intake mani gaskets
exhaust mani gasket, header->dp crush rings
            front, rear crank seals
            cam seals
            b.shaft seals
            etc
            etc

            its a very nice kit!

how bout exhaust gaskets? the gasket that goes in between the header and dp pretty much burned apart and i have a damn exhaust leak now. it was one of those that comes with the egay header /dp.

i was just gona use some rtv and take out the gasket and just clamp it down and ride like that. lol, im ghetto like that.
