Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

u gotta get under the dash.there is 5 FAT wires runnin from the key ignition to the fuse box. u might not see it cuz it's cover in shinnny rubber hose loookin. at one area it'll be exposed. u'll see that one of that fat wire been cut and butt connected to another wire or tape to another wire. honda accord starter wire i believe they are black with a white line on it. follow that wire. u'll see it been cut. u gotta reconnect it back to the other black/white wire so it can be back to it's factory setting and the car should start.

hey guys i have factory alarm from 93 works great and all but my key fob it busted in the corner and falls apart and shit it sucks, anyone got any ideas as to getting a new system that is factory and will work? i checked honda about a new fob, they said it's $56 but you can't buy them anymore. so now what? keep it until it breaks and locks my out of car and kills it so i can't start it or upgrade to aftermarket? really don't want to hack up too much wiring if ya know, tends to lead to problems i don't want to deal with later on.My other ride is your ex-wife

does it crank at all? is it a stick or an auto?Originally posted by dsyplei got a friend who bought a car frm someone and had an alarm for that car with a kill switch in it....appreantly when he bought it...it was all good....until he made some one drive he's car and the car just started to die out with the light and guages blinking like the alarm is on or something.....so what i did was i disconnected the whole alarm system....and shyt still the same...won't start.....anyone has any ideas....
when u took out the alarm, the wires that went to the main ignition harness did you re-connect the starter wire? if you look you will see either the wires are tapped somehow but then you will see one wire that is actually cut in half and bypassed....if u re-connect that to where its together again then it should start.
if its a manual, and everything checks out check out the little clutch switch that senses when the car is going to be started and wants the clutch down...sometimes that goes bad too.
i think the starter wire is a black and white....What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

THE CAR IS A 96 HONDA CIVIC DX...IT'S MANUAL...AND I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THAT WIRE....AND THE WIRE TO THE THE IGNITION IS NOT CUT OR SPLICE OR ANY WIRES CONNECTED TO THAT.....AND.....I TRIED TO START THE CAR DIRECTLY FRM THE STARTER...THE STARTER STILL WON'T ENGAGE...NOTE*CAR THE IGNITION WAS IN ON....I RECONNCETED THE WIRES THAT WERE CUT AND SPLICE UNDER THE STEERING COLOUM....AND THE WIRE FOR THE STARTER IS SPLICED OR BYPASS.....EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL....SO I WANTED TO CHECK IF THE STARTER WORK....I TOOK OUT THE STARTER AND I PUT IT ON MY COUSINS CIVIC AND IT STARTS UP FINE....ARGHH....I REALLY HATE ELECTRICALS......Signature removed due to excessive size. Please read the rules before creating a new signature. - cp[mike]

with the key on, tag the white wire to the starter wire that has been cut in half...does it start?
do you have 12 volts at the starter itself?
all ur fuses good? is ur starter fuse in the car burnt or even there? What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
