ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

1 the best advice i think would be to do a shit load of research
you may have already but even if you think your ready most of the time your not
there’s a lot of things that pop up once you start the project that if your not ready for may make you change your mind...and most of that time that’ll be after you bought a shit load of parts.
2 its a better idea too start at only at a 200 whp goal
if your boosting for the first time its a good idea to start out at only 8 psi
f22s are know to be pretty stable at 8 psi and most likely wont give you many problems
when everybody catches the turbo bug they wana go big but after doing research they come back down to reality and decide to keep it somewhat simple
your goal isnt crazy but its still somewhat hard to acheve w/ a stock bottom end. and building your bottom end isnt something you want to get into yet eather
3 compression test and leak down test the motor before you start. if those things are good you shouldn’t see many problems
even if you have a shit load of miles
4 make sure you get it dyno tuned-----its expensive but a must...some go w/ a street tune but 1. you have to know someone thats veryy good at tuning 2.you wont be making all the power you could 3. itl be much easyer to blow the engineLast edited by Mike; 10-09-2006, 12:46 PM.

you'll probably need a turbo in the t3/t04e range. The 50,57, or possibly even the 60 trim would get you there with supporting mods pretty easily at 9-10psiKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word
