Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    turbo project...

    I have a T3 T4 turbonetics turbo and well... I want it on my F22A1!! But i dont know how to tune my ecu. I was told that the ecu of this engine dosnt have a space on the board to actually chip it, so some people use a civic ecu. he said the plugs are the same and the civic ecu is easier to tune... is that right. I need some answers cuz my kit is almost complete...

      X2, there is A LOT of info there, everything you need to know is covered. Shouldn't you have done research before getting a kit together? :P lol.

        yeah before u start installing anything, read the forced induction forum, then reread it again so you don't blow up ur engine

          you guys are right. but im not gonna assemble anything yet. i only have the turbo and manifold, wastegate, blowoff valve, injectors, fuel pump, and intrcooler. but thanks for the pointers

            Is the kit already complete and have you already installed it or do you still have to begin with it?

              A P06 ECU from a 92-95 Civic EX or Si will work for chipping purposes. MRX sells chipped ECUs, and I believe Accord R33 and d112crzy do as well. A basemap is usually included to get you going, but you shouldn't drive on it very long... and you shouldn't push it on the basemap (I've heard many stories of blown motors because of that...) To do it right, you'll need a good street-tune at the very least. A dyno tune is preferable.
