ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Voltmeter help...

Okay I need to use a voltmeter on my blower motor for heat becuase i dont think it's working. I Dont get how I used the voltmeters. I have a craftsman one and I dont get what setting I put it on etc. I need to test the blower becuase I think that crapped the bed on my accord.
LMK also a picture of where the wires are for the blower motor would help

    Thanks

voltage is the potential difference between 2 points. Like stated above, turn the multimeter on to DC Voltage and measure the number across 2 points.

      ...adjust accordingly

on the V side of the dial, theres a bunch of numbers (multiples of 10)... set it to the next highest voltage over the expected voltage your going to read. to read voltage, just touch each probe to each side of whatever it is.

disconnect the fan plug and put the probes in the end of the connector, and turn the fan speed knob... if it gets voltage at the plug, you know its not the knob or wiring.

to test the fan, hook up 12v to the pins of the fan's connector. you can run small speaker wire from an extra car battery, any 12v. if it doestn spin w/ power, the fan is the problem.

ive found taking the dashboard out makes it easier to replace the whole blower motor assembly.

look in the haynes manual it has a picture of the connector up above the passenger kickpanel.

Too make sure things are working. I used a new climate control and it still doesnt work. Fuse is good. Could a relay just randomly be shot?

            Where is the relay?

Thanks mike ill try this today in jerzy
