ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i believe most cars have 2, one in the engine bay and the other is behind/under neath the driver side rear tire.

both should be fairly cheap at the autopart store.

fuel filter is a 10 mins job even if first time (just hope your accord is not a rust bucket)
u dont need any jacks the filter is located in back of the vacuum control box, just (left side of firewall)remove the screws and put it aside and the fuel filter its right behind it. make sure u open gas cap first to relieve pressure and then loose the bolts and replace.

Not my fault my dick only fits magnums.

Yeah, you will need an adjustable wrench for added grip. Invest in some mechanics gloves or you will get cut up when it finally breaks loose.

It is usually on there really really tight, and the bracket that holds it to the firewall is very flexible. Sometimes its easier to take it off and put it in a vice.

i used to own an '85 accord that had an external fuel pump. now that car for sure had two.

after doing some searching of previous topics, it seems like theres only one on the CB7 and it's in the engine bay.

Only one filter, located under the black vacuum box at the back-left firewall area facing the engine bay with hood open.

First step is, relieve fuel pressure. I remove the gas cap to your gas tank. With the new fuel filter you should receive 2 larger washers and 1 small one. Open your hood, to the right of the fuel rail you will see the fuel service screw, open it, remove old copper washer, install new washer and just snug the screw back on with normal force (nothing excessive!!). Then, attack the fuel filter and put the 2 new washers on the 17mm bango bolt, one on either said of the fuel line fitting, remove the old ones obviously.

I remove the 3 screws for the ECU and move the ECU aside and get in there. You will need a 17mm, 14mm and 10mm combo wrench or flare-nut wrench, whichever you have access to. The pain in replacing it, is the 10mm head screw that is for the fuel filter clamp, however long it takes you to install that with new filter in place is really the determining factor on how long the process takes. It's more than a 10 minute job but not much more, even for me who has replaced it many times on our many CB7s. Just be careful when breaking the lines loose, don't round them off and careful not to bang your knuckles.

After replacement, turn your ignition key on to prime the fuel pump a couple times before starting the car. Don't freak out if it takes a little longer to start the car, remember you relieved fuel pressure and have an empty new fuel filter that has to fill before getting fuel to your engine, it's normal.

Thanks, not get a manual for your car, obviously in asking these questions you don't have one. I recommend Haynes if you go to a store to get one, better yet if you plan to dig deaper into your car other than regular maintenance a Helms manual.

Get oem, I bought one from autozone (generic) and it made this irritating humming noise, replaced it with OEM right away and now its perfect

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
