compressor ?????

hey everybody i got a few questios now that i didnt found nothing on search
my car (92excb7)
the specs says it uses R12 but the fittings to charge the lines are R134a which is almost impossible to charge it with R12 unless u get the fittings

funny cause the car has the stickers which says R12 only and all dat but i mean they the fittings in thr R134a changed or that reason, for people not to interchange the frions so whats dat my car says everywhere that uses R12 but uses R134a


also i think my compressor is screwed b cuz i see oil from the compressor leaking

if u are not the original owner of ur cb7 and whoever u bought ur car from might of retrofitted to r134a.

A retrofit kit should've had a sticker that goes with the original one, but its could've easily been forgotten about.

Yes it was like everything before 94 was r12 then everyone started moving onto 134a. If you get most mixed (mine is mixed damn previous owner) it will turn out to be a yellowish goo and AC wont work too well.

yea the cb7 came with r 12 the fittings r different, and they wont let u buy r12 with out a license. but if u feel your car has been retrofited or u dont know take it 2 shop that deals with ac compressors and hav them check it for u for free. i still put r 12 in my car by myself
