ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Ya, you will notice a little tire wear....but not too bad with a "sport" drop. If you were running a race drop, I'd suggest something.

Make sure you get an alignment though, that'll kill tires as well....

Are you using stock struts? My drop is 2.25 on stockers and its slowly goin out on me negative camber wear is a bitich but yea. 1-2 shouldnt be that bad.

Shouldnt be bad but anyway if you lower the car you will have to deal with some negative camber wear anyway. 1-2 should be fine.

I am using Tein H-tech springs with Tokico HP (blue) shock abosorbers. So I am dropped abour 2" in the front and 1.5in the back. No problem with tire wear...just get a alighnment and rotate your tires every second oil change....u r good to go

It's up to you about the kit but I'd say lower it and def. get the toe corrected right away.

on that note ... im planning on dropping my cb on h&r's my alignment isnt the best at the moment (city driving, crazy pot holes + street car tracks).... i was speaking to a mechanic and told me alot of shops plus himself dont do alignments on lowered cars .... should i have my alignment done before or after i drop it? ... does it make a diffreance if i do it before?

Go to a Performance shop and they will do alignments on cars with lowered suspension. Those other shops just align vans and family sedans and don't want to bother with anything else.

Get an alignment with the suspension install...then do another alignment in about two months, when the springs settle.
