Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i was having the same problem and i bought 2 maps for f22a that was not problem it is either idle air control or fast idle control what i did . on the idle control valve there is a screw that looks like an allen head it not though its only 5 sided instead of 6 i took that screw all the way out .it controls how much air the fast idle control gets.so when u take that screw out it wont idle up on cold start any more. it will idle at idle speed that u have set its a flat head screw on the throttle body hope that helps

I would think the F series IAc is interchangeable. You can just get you some carb cleaner or brake clean and clean out the IAC. The FITV however you have to screw down to adjust.

both iac and fitv are next to each other .to control the air to the FITV there is a allen looking bolt about the size of an eraser .it is on the IACV yes on the iacv. take it out the car will idle down when u take it out .then adjust throttle at the throttle body. the screw for that is on the left side of the tb.the reason i did this is because i cleaned both parts and it still continued . you do not need to remove the iacv or the fitv. just remove the screw and all it does is it wont alow air to fitv the fast idle thermo valve is there for warm up. your t/b sucks air through a hole b4 it goes through the butterfly when u take the screw out it quits sucking air .so your car wont idle up to 1500 for warm up any more it will just idle what u have it set at. also the little screw on the iacv will have this orange sealer on it so it wont back out so that will help u spot it hope it helps bro

K i took out that screw and the car was still doing it i tryed putting the iac off of my f22a1 im and it still did the same thing i dont know what it could be but when i unplug the iac the car starts acting weird so i dont know if its that or not. Can it be the map sensor i checked the im bolts they were all tight so how do i know if that has a leak in it or not.

Before i swapped my H23, my f22a1 was doing the same thing. I never ended up finding the problem cause i put in the new motor. But i was told to check engine coolant, Intake mani gasket, vacuum lines, iacv. I know all this was mentioned except for the vacuum lines. So you might want to check all of them. They could be cracked and torn from being so old and dry rotted. Hope this can help you. Good luck

turn idle down after u take the screw out the idle is to high.Originally posted by ntcb7come on guys i need help i cant get the car to stop doing that i need to know what are all the things that i will check on the car that could make it do that so i can go through and check all of them. please let me know soon
if i turn my idle up it will start doing it again.and i think the only proper way to fix this problem is to replace both iacv and fitv. so i guess try that .its a pain in the ass i know lol good luck
