Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    NO reverse

    car just stop'd going in2 reverse...it can be a few things i guess......reverse just went out....the linkage......it go's in to 1-5 gears fine just not reverse

    my reverse went out a year ago and the reason was my 5th gear use to grind a little and 5th and reverse share the same gear sleeve...hopefully you have f22 and not h22 trannys cost alot of $$$$$ f22 trannys are a dime a dozen run like 200 or 300

      when you say they are a dime a dozen, are those JDM trannies with low mileage or are they USDM ones with semi decently high mileage?

        theres a yard down here in chicago that sells any tranny for $100 and jdm trannys are $300 thats for f22a not h22!! h22 trannys go for $700 and up

          too bad i don't go to chi-town anymore... it's a long story.

          i'll just look around here for a good deal that way i can pick it up with my pickup.

            my reverse went about a year ago and it was my shifter cable, it was all tangled up. it may be that.

              mine went out too
              ....you might as well get another tranny unless you got a hookup or can do it yourself. Labor was pretty pricey and I dropped the tranny myself, the parts were about 150-200 bux
