    BB6 gauge cluster

I bought my BB6 gauge cluster with the harness friday finally. As i was in the middle of making my reverse harness the other night, i got to thinking and my question is: Will the cluster work in my car because my car is an automatic and the cluster is out of a manual prelude... Im wondering if any of the wiring for the automatic shift position indicators feed back into tcu from the gauge cluster and would that make my car not start? just thought i would ask, if it wont work ill just wait until i do the auto to manual swap to put it in.
Another thing to, since my car is a sedan, can i hook the drivers side door indicators together and passenger side indicators together and hook them into the gauge cluster and my interior lights still work. I remember Cp[mike] saying something about having to rig this up to make it work... lol just see if anyone has any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it

the gauge should work just fine, you just wont be able to see what gear you are in looking at the cluster. just look down to see if ur in P/R/N/D4 and so on.

since u do have a sedan you will need to splice together the front/rear door indicators, just as you were thinking. only issue i remember is with the dome light working. maybe cpmike or lodollar can chime in.

    good luck!

thanks man, the reason i was wondering was because of the D4 light flashes, when it throws a code for the TCU, i was wondering if it would affect that. i appreciate it

leaving the gear indicator disconnected at the cluster wont affect anything.

and as for the rear door issue, ive really never even looked into it, or even what the wiring looked like. i can help you with getting the wiring diagrams no problem though. from what i remember reading from lodollar, is that the only issue he had was a dome light that didnt work.

btw, want to trade gauge clusters? mines from a '99 automatic.

i got mine from a local guy that had a wrecked one he was using for parts, i just took it out and cut the dash harness long enough for what i needed. you get them from 97-01 preludes, make sure you get the wiring. you can find them at local junkyards or ebay
