ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Headers??

i got a question about headers..

click at the link below..if you click the first link ur gonna see the obx header with the circled part on it and i don't know what that is..

    http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o.../Obxheader.jpg

how come this megan header doesn't have one of those??

its a hanger, and the megan doesnt have it because it bolts up to your stock or aftermarket flex, where as the OBX comes with a new flex pipe. do u understand what im saying? sorry im real tired if not ill explain it better let me know man

wait scratch that i think your talking about the flex pipe itself. it just allows the exhaust to make a small bend right there, and gives it all some play. with the megan header you have to reuse ur stock flex pipe

um im not sure how much it costs... i DO know that its damn near impossible to buy alone. i have an exhaust leak in mine and i just had to buy a whole new header with flex on it...id say your better off getting a header with the flex pipe.

The OBX headers have the flexpipe attached to the 2-1 downpipe already. The metal mesh you see there is to allow your exhaust system to flew a little bit so it doesn't hurt itself when it twist a bit.

^^^ the one above the Megan headers now they also how the down pipe but they have reduced it to a point where they didn't weld in the flexpipe since they expect you to connect to the stock flex. They just shortend the 2-1 pipe. thats about the only different i can see

            hope this helps

Well, look at it this way, which one do you want? if your replacing the header, are you going to reuse your old flex pipe? That is to say how old IS your flex pipe. It's never a bad idea to replace parts that wear out like that when doing something like this.

so, it's better to get a header with the flex pipe weld into it? what do you guys think about this one?

http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...tterheader.jpg about 200 bucks? worth it or not?
