Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Supension Setup????

    Sup family, So i got some cash saved up and before trying to install anything ealse in my cb7 i need the whole setup! Sturts, Spring so and so. my car is really bad when it comes to driving over the smallest potwhole. I've droven my friends cars and i go over the same potwholes and nothing happens, but me my whole car slams on the grownd i did not now what it was untill my mechanic told me my shocks are blown. i have adjustable spring they came with the car but i think the person who had the car before me bought those cheap "eBAY Springs" you know those $17.99 plus shipping springs. So i'm gonna spend some good cash on a good setup because i have a 4 month old baby girl and i need the best suspension kit.


    MY Question: what should i do, wich suspension Setup Should i get???

    i will tell you what my suspension is i have a 4 yr old so i know how u feel. i have eibach sportline springs, tokico alumina adj struts, front and rear strut bars and energy suspension. i dont know of any other cb7 that I'VE been in that rode smoother. my car kinda rides like its on air nice cushioned ride im very impressed good luck in ur search

        did they use the stock struts on the coilovers, if they did the travel of the shock wouldn't be the same and the oil wouldn't cause the correct dampening force and cause them to blow out fast. make sure you get good quality struts like koni, kyb, etc, call the manifacturer and tell them the drop you're getting and and what you want the car to perform (racing, autocross), and they should be able to help you choose the correct struts for your application.
