ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

cant help u much on this, bro.. im not that experienced in dizzy coils.. i have swapped the same F22 dizzy internals, but that was with guidance from my foreman..

pulling out the plastic rotor thingy was PITA, tho.. it was stuck, so i had to yank it out..

Unless you have very specific equipment and tools, you can't replace those two sensors.

The only things that are serviceable in that dizzy are the Coil and ignitor.

Even Helms doesn't provide instruction on how to do it.

The place that rebuilds them probably takes care of it.

Sorry dude. It is time for a new dizzy.

its super easy to disassemble and replace the sensors inside.

remove cap, rotor, dust shield, and ignitor. there are two screws holding the top pickup coil and three screws holding the main plate and bearing, remove all 5. pull the snap ring off from around the rotor at the other end of the distributor and pull the pin out, which will let you take the rotor off. NOTE that it can go back on either direction - 180° off would cause serious issues, so make sure you mark which way it goes back on! if you forget, there is a way to tell, but i wont explain here. with the rotor off the tip and the insides loose, push the tip of the dizzy down onto a table and itll pop the shaft and plate up and out. the two remaining pickup coils are just held on by screws.

you can swap the set of 3 coils and their wiring as a whole, just make sure you use the proper F20 main shaft & bearing, while the F22 one would fit, it puts the outer rotor at the wrong angle.
